INTERNATIONAL CALL TO THE ARMENIAN DIASPORA
Worldwide Campaign
'Our Dead Have Names'

Dear Compatriot,

On April 24, 2006, the Armenian community will commemorate the Genocide of 1915 which was perpetrated by the Young Turk government of Ottoman Empire. This will be the 91st commemoration. 90 too many ! Historical revisionism by the State, wich has overstepped its boundaries since 2005 (when the Republic of Turkey began negotiations for entry in the European Union), is drowning us out and thereby prolonging Armenocide.

In turn, our sons and daughters should not have to struggle to make the Turkish State recognize the ignominy of the Genocide inflicted on our people. Their future should be normal and happy within a society that has made peace with itself. This is why we are making a solemn call to the whole community so that every one of its members can witness the drama that has affected them personally on 1915.

We are asking men and women from all continents to stand vigilant, as the memory of the Martyrs is decried, as unprecedented violence is being inflicted on the sons and daughters of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide, and as the very existence of our identity, symbolized by the vestiges of our culture, is being willfully wiped out.

Today, Armenians are the target of the denial of the crime of which their parents were innocent victims.

Scorned, bruised, exasperated, but nevertheless Armenian, we have to tell the world, once and for all, that the time for geopolitical procrastination has passed. We are not claiming to be victims, but protesters for simple justice. The first of these is to allow us to pay respect to our graveless parents' remains. We will do this on April 24, as we have done every year since 1916. In the absence of burial sites, www.inhomage.com enables every one of us to write in the names of those who lost their lives on our ancestral soil. Once this has been done, another task will be invoked: to insure the permanent recognition of the Genocide of the Armenian people and the inevitable consequences of recognition.

Just like a petition, the recording of the names of the victims  will become a recognized document render to the United Nations, the only institution whose competence in this area is acknowledged by Turkey.

Brought to task, the Turkish government has embarked on an unprecedented campaign of denial of strength of which Armenians would again be the victims.
The time has come for all Armenians to resist.

Therefore, on the occasion of the 91st commemoration of this human cataclysm, we call upon each of to resist falling into silent consent by visiting the website now at www.inhomage.com to see for yourselves and to help show that our dead have names. This is our duty.

To honor the memory of our 1,500,000 Martyrs, please pass this information on to other descendants of victims.

APPEL INTERNATIONAL À LA DIASPORA ARMENIENNE
Worldwide Campaign « Nos Morts ont des Noms »

Cher compatriote,

Dear compatriot, April 24, 2006, the Armenian community will commemorate the Genocide of 1915 perpetrated by the government of the Young Turks of the Othoman Empire. It will be the 91th commemoration. 91 of too! while a negationnism of State, whose limits were exceeded since 2005 (year of the entry in negotiation of the Republic of Turkey with the European Union), submerges us in prolongation of Arménocide. Our daughters and our sons should not have to fight so that the ignominie inflicted to our people is recognized by the Turkish State. Their future must be achieved in the serenity of a normal and happy life, and in a reconciled company, in peace with itself. This is why, we launch a solemn call with the whole of the community so that each one of its members testifies to the drama which personally struck it in 1915. From all the continents, we invite the women and the men with greatest vigilance while the memory of the Martyrs is decried, while a violence without precedent falls down on the girls and wire of Genocide of the Armenians, and that the existence even of our identity, symbolized by the vestiges of our culture, is obstinately eliminated. Today, it is the Armenian, as anybody, who is aimed by denial of the crime whose his/her parents were the innocent victims. Ridiculed, ravaged, exasperated, but Armenian, we must ourselves of saying definitively to the face of the world which the time of the geopolitical tergiversations is exceeded. That we are not posed as victims, but as claimants of the simple justice. The first of our duties will be to incline us on the skins of our parents. We will do it on April 24, like every year since 1916. In the absence of burials, www.inhomage.com makes it possible each one among us to write the names of those and those which left their life on our ancestral ground. This achieved duty will call another at once of them: to ensure the permanent recognition of the Genocide of the Armenian people and the inevitable consequences of this one. Just as a petition, the recording of the name of the victims will then take value of document in front of the United Nations, only institution whose competence is recognized by the Turkish Republic. Driven back, the Turkish government engaged in a campaign of refusal without precedent of which we would be still the victims. Time thus came for all the Armenians to enter in resistance. Thus, at the time of the 91ème commemoration of this human cataclysm, we abjure you not to lock up you in the assent by silence, while returning to you without delay on the website www.inhomage.com to help to prove that our deaths have names. It is our duty. In the honor and with the memory of our 1,500,000 Martyrs, thank you to transmit this information to other descendants of victims.
